The new Lagoon 42 is sleek and modern, with curvaceous and flowing exterior lines penned by French designers VPLP. The catamaran is also easier to handle, thanks to a clever deck layout that moves the mast further aft. The self-tacking jib sail also provides ease of handling. Large, rectangular hull windows bring plenty of light into the staterooms. The owner can choose between three of four staterooms, which have island double-berth beds in the aft cabins and beds with side access in the forward cabins. The U-shaped galley is fitted with wide counters to give plenty of space for preparing meals.
